Tethering connection problem
Hello.
I have been using C1 with satisfaction with my Canon 5dsR camera holding 2 memory cards at all times.
Just today, as I was beginning a shooting, the camera would not be recognized in C1, although the red light on the camera was remaining red (as when transferring something). Therefore, impossible to shoot tethered. Only after my shooting (I finally did it on memory cards) I investigated and understood that the connection with C1 only worked when I removed the SD card from the camera. Leaving the CompactFlash card in did not create any conflict.
I am trying to understand WHY this suddenly happens, while I have been able to do numerous amounts of shootings WITH both cards remaining in the camera. What matters most to me is that I can still shoot tethered by removing the SD card, but WHY suddenly ?
Any idea would be welcome.
Yes, I have read the C1 recommendations for shooting tethered, and I have read they ask to remove all memory cards (even though it worked until today...).
I am using a SDXC SanDisk Extreme PRO 128 Go UHS-I, Class 10, U3, V30 memory card.
Thanks.

No one else encountering problems while shooting tethered with a memory card inside Canon 5dsR ? I keep on experiencing the same issue : when a card is in the camera, C1 does not detect the tethered camera.
