things I have noticed and how to get around them

Magnification slider bar in the edit window does not increment the way I expect. But it seems that it is tied to having Proof turned on. With it on, the mag jumps are very coarse. fit/100%/200%, etc. With Proof off, you get what you expect. 

Sometimes while editing a layer, and then wanting to move to another layer, C1 jumps back down the the background layer. Once it starts doing this, it does it all the time. However, if I simply select another image to edit, and then go back to the one I was editing, this issue is gone. So I take that as something that gets reset when switching images.

The Export drop down menu is not consistent and does not always apply the edits when I export from there. However, the Export tool bar/whatever it is called. The tool they added back in... Works correctly. So I only use that Export anymore.

There are still lots of "locking" at seemingly weird places. And I am forced to use the Taskmgr to end all of the Capture 1 programs that are running. I have never lost any editing when I have done this, so I just suffer thru them. The "locking" occurs about once a week for me.
