Toolbar stays visible in full screen mode after panels have been open

In full screen mode, with the left and right panel in auto-show mode, when you open either of the panels, the toolbar opens too, but it doesn't disappear automatically when the panels close. In order to make it disappear, you need to move the cursor to the top of the screen and down again. (MacBook Pro M1 Max, macOS 12.1.)

(I asked support about this in mid-December, but so far their only reaction has been to merge my request with an unrelated request about panorama stitching.)

  Same with the latest build, 15.1.0.123.

  The issue persists with the latest build, 15.2.0.77.
