2 issues in final version that weren´t there in BETA

First issue and the biggest one:

- if I choose Edit with (Photoshop) it exports a TIFF as usual

- when I edit TIFF in PS and want to save it it says that it cannot save since the file is open in another app (Capture ONE)

So looks like the C1 is not "releasing" the exported TIFF and the only solution is to do "Save as" in PS but this duplicates the TIFFS which I do not want.
It worked normally in previous full and beta versions.

Second issue:

- using COPY / APPLY the C1 hangs a lot of times. While doing APPLY it will just freeze (the bar Applying is moving indefinetly) so I have to close it via Task manager

(it´s just simple 2 or 3 layers copy/apply thing)

 

Oh and hardware accelerated preview sometimes just start displaying the green/purple pattern all over - I know that the solution is to turn off the acceleration but then it renders huge files too slow to work with. This happens usually on a maximum zoom but when it does happen once it won´t stop until restart.

 

Computer is maxed out Ryzen 5900x with 64Gb RAM, 2x gen4 SSD, nVidia 1080, all software updated.

  Hi Saso,

  your first issue does not appear on my C1 (latest update). I just tried.

  The second issue is one of the issues I know for a very long period (and never was fixed). In my workflow it appears mostly when copy and apply keystone or rotation & flip parameters. It is nerving and takes time - especially when working on "all images".

  But I can close C1 normally by clicking the close-button. After next start C1 works well - usually but in s few attempts I have to restart a second time.

  First issue did not appear on any previous versions (including betas) for me either. Just with the latest update. Still haven’t found out the solution for it except duplicating files with Save As…

  I started to notice the same reasons as you. Usually when there is a keystone correction or rotation it just hangs. I cannot normally close it - have to do it via Task Manager and then go thru opening the latest session again since I am presented with “Open” dialogue. It opens normally but there is always that moment when you are nervously waiting if everything is alright especially when working on some important project with deadlines.

  Hoping this 2 issues get fixed soon though.

  First issue is in my versions since V20. But may be, I did not unterstnd your problem. What I mean: When you copy and paste some ajustments (mostly it happens with keystone, rotation, cropping) to other images, C1 stops work showing blurry image previes in the Viewer. From this on I cannot go to other images and so on. Have to restart C1.- what mostly is possible without task manager.

  I am waiting for fixing for years now...
