Using System shortcuts has stopped working
I LOVE capture one - just need to say that first! :-) I've just updated to 14.3.0.260 and have noticed that my Mac OSX App Shortcuts for C1 have stopped working. I'd set up some custom styles for my own workflow and assigned numeric keypad 1-9 to apply nine different exposure settings. This worked fine until the update but they stopped working. No surprise when I realised that the C1 menu names had changed from User Styles to Custom Styles. So I set them up again with the correct nomenclature and... they still don't work. There's no clash so far as I can tell - previously I would just hit 5 for no exposure shift or 7 for +1 exposure shift etc but all I get now is a system beep. I can't assign shortcuts within C1 for Custom Styles (why?!?) so the OS method is the only way - but it don't work no more. Help!

What do you mean by "OS method"? Are you trying to set something up in the Keyboard pref pane's "Shortcuts" pane, or using AppleScript or an Automator action or something else? Have you tried Keyboard Maestro, which is what I use for setting up keyboard shortcuts when I can't program them within an app. Please provide a bit more detail.

Hey Abbott! Yes, I mean using the 'App Shortcuts' tab in the Keyboard preference pane in Mac OSX Settings. It worked just fine in the previous iteration of C1 but no matter what I try, I can't get it to work under the newest C1 version. I'll take a look at Keyboard Maestro - I've never heard of that, so thanks for the tip!

Oh. My. Daze. So Keyboard Maestro works and the problem is solved. But.... it doesn't work correctly since when recording a new Macro in KM, it records the menu sequence as Adjustments>Built-in Styles>0 where '0' is the name of my style. But the actual menu sequence is this: Adjustments>Custom Styles>0 Even if I input the 'built-in styles' error to Mac OSX Keyboard Shortcuts it still won't work. So what the heck is going on?
