What the heck happened to the mask visibility settings?

With the latest update the mask visibility settings were removed from the layers tool.

Why? WHY?

As i am normally not using shortcuts (keyboard is aside when working in C1) it is now nearly impossible to do a quick change to the mask visibility. Has there really be a need to remove this functionality from the layers tool?

  I am wondering this too.  But I notice it appears in the browser top left by the multi-view toggle
