colour tag changes effecting original and PSD edit files of the same name

I noticed that my colour tag adjustments are also taking place the original raw files...For example, if I have gone through my round robin edit through photoshop and am now happy with the final edit I usually tag it green... However, much to my surprise the original raw files also turns green moments after. Am I missing something?

Really struggling now to make sense of it. I re-imported images now into the session capture folder with the xml files, along with the PSDs and when I scroll through the images in C1 the original raws are taking on the colour tag of the PSD files with the same name. I am certain this was not happening before as this is my workflow, to colour tag images as to their stage. I imagine I have turned on some function somewhere. Assistance would be appreciated.
