Resuming Capture One Live "freezes" C1

When resuming a C1 Live session with ~ 250 pictures C1 always takes quite a long time after pressing "Resume". I assume this is something about syncing the data?

Which would not be that bad but since is does this not in the background but rather freezes C1 this is not very handsome.

Does anybody else experiences this problem?

Also I ran into several "final freezes" (restart of C1 was necessary) during tethering and live session - I still have to figure out if this is related to tethering or live session or working both together.

So my first impression of the new version is not a very nice one :-(
