Problems with Capture One 22
I have to say that after upgrading from Capture One 20 to Capture One 22 that I hate Capture One 22. I had to upgrade because the earlier version is not compatible with my Fujifilm XT30ii camera.
In Capture One 20 I could see all my thumbnails just by pressing option/command/v. That way I could navigate anywhere among the thumbnails very quickly to find what I wanted. In Capture One 22 I'm only allowed to see 12 thumbnails at a time. I see absolutely no good reason for this! It just makes the workflow harder and slower.
In Capture One 20 I could copy all my adjustments from one image to the next by pressing shift/command/c in the first image and shift/command/v in the second one. Capture One 22 only applies some of the adjustments, and it seems to be totally arbitrary which ones it copies. There is an adjustments clipboard, but if I select all in this clipboard it immediately reverts to the ones it wants, not the ones I want. It makes me crazy.
An upgrade is supposed to make life easier, not harder!

I haven't tried what you describe as your first problem, so can't comment on that.
For your second one, Capture One 22 works just fine for me, but I don't use the keyboard shortcut. Instead, I just Shift-click on the bidirectional "Copy/Paste" arrow in the toolbar. Note that it may not be present on the default workspace, so you may need to customize the toolbar and save the resulting workspace.
In both cases though, it's possible that Capture One changed the keyboard shortcuts for those operations. They've done that before and it drives me nuts. The solution is to create and save your own custom shortcuts set. I've found that changes Capture One makes to shortcuts don't (so far!) apply to custom shortcut sets. Similarly, custom workspaces don't get impacted by changes to the default workspace.
If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend exploring custom keyboard shortcuts (from the Edit menu) and custom workspaces (from the Workspace menu). The only issue I have with custom workspaces is that for some reason, Capture One doesn't highlight which workspace you're currently using. I've asked for this and finally gave up and just live with it.

How many thumbnails you can see at a time has not changed between version 20 and version 22. Can you share a screen shot so that we can see what you are seeing and help g4et you back to how you like to see it?

Go to "Edit Keyboard Shortcuts" and look for "Show/Hide Viewer".
What you are probably seeing is the view when you select all. What you see is probably the view when you select all, which shows 12 cuts, unchanged from before.
As mentioned above, you can copy them in both directions as before.
In the meantime, please check the "List" under "Edit Keyboard Shortcuts" or enter a command or key to see if it has changed.0
