Fuji tethered issues with X-T3

I've attempted to tether my X-T3 but C1 doesn't even recognize the camera when it is listed as a supported model. 

I'm using the latest version of C1 for M1 Macs and the latest version of Big Sur (11.4), as well as a brand new tether tools cable. The only thing I can think of is I have an Anker adapter to use the USB-3 to USB-C into the computer or iPhone, iPad. But the camera has the green light by the thumb grip and seems that it knows its connected to the computer. Any insights?

  Did you set the camera to tether auto?
