Import recipes (like export recipes)
It would be nice and time saving to have import recipes. Just like the export recipes change all the export settings at once in the new export window, they would change all import settings at once in the import window.
Lightroom Classic has that already since a long time (it's called import preset and it's located at the bottom of its import window).

As far as I understand your request it exists in C1 also for a long time: In the Importer window down on the left side is the Adjustments section where you can choose from your presets + styles which to apply at import already.

Yes I know that feature. That's not what I am talking about. I'm talking about implementing a more global recipe that acts on all the import tool, just like the export recipes acts on pretty much every export tools in the export window (naming, location, sharpening, color space, quality, etc). So this way we can have different import workflows and we could select in one click where pictures are imported from, what's the naming pattern, what's the copyright, what presets & style to apply at import, etc.

> Bruno Petit: ...just like the export recipes
And, like export, the user could select multiple import recipes and have a number of variants created automagically. Wouldn't help me much, though.

Without getting into any multiplicity of imports (interesting idea though ...) a basic option to save import settings as "recipes" for future use might be rather handy. In general, it would not mean much to me since my imports to sessions are quite consistent anyway most of the time so the automatically retained "previous" settings work in my case.
But I could foresee that people with structured requirements related to different shooting activities might enjoy the option to define an import recipe that could quickly be called up and used for different types of shoot or different types of camera or whatever they might need.

I have submitted same request 10 months ago (below link)...
I think there is a technical constrain to implement "Preset" features within 'Model Dialog' based tools - Import Images, new Exporter, Brush Settings and Luma Range. It could be the reason why instead of having brush configurations as Preset they are linked to Layer and in Export Tool saved as Recipes. If CO come up with solution then only it is possible to have Presets in Import Images to manage different import configs.

Please consider that request. I imported some images from my harddisk, keeping them in place. Then I wanted to import from SD-card - and ALL MY SETTINGS were GONE: folder to import to, name pattern for subfolder and images etc. Had to meticulously create all this again. And by the way: too many clicks to apply a pattern not shown as the default (like e.g. Current year (yyyy)). And selected non-default pattern should be preserved, instead next time default pattern is shown again.
