Capture One Express for Canon cameras

Good morning. I started learning about photography 4 months ago and i bought Canon m50. I downloaded the Capture One trail version as recommended by @tdominey. I learned all basics from @ParkTweets and used it for 30day. I loved the easy to use, UI and layer options are very powerful to use. Since i am new to photography i am hesitant to buy the full version and would like to use Capture One Express. But the problem is Capture One Express is limited to Fujifilm, Sony, and Nikon Cameras. There is no option for Canon Cameras. So I just wanted to know whether there will be Capture One Express in plans for Canon Cameras in future? Including mirrorless canon cameras. Thank you

  It seems unlikely at this time.

  The manufacturer would need to be involved and wish to support such a project.

  Traditionally Capture One would not pre-announce or discuss possible future developments. It should be assumed that anything that may be commercially sensitive would not be discussed in advance.
