Capture One reduces Sony RAW files when importing

Anyone can help me please?

I recently bought MacBook Air M1 and I've installed the Capture One 21 for Sony. When I import raw files into Cap.1 the size of every file I import is reduced from 85MB to 30Mb. This happen before even start editing the file or choose any jpeg setting for Process.

What are you measuring? Capture One never changes an imported file. Jpeg, raw, tiff makes no difference. The program won't even update metadata to files that support that kind of update.

Are you using a catalog? Are you storing the images in the Catalog? If the files are referenced all the import does is read them. If the files are stored in the Catalog the files will be copied, then read.
