Capture one 21...photoshop latest version

I would often set Capture One to to export an image and then open automatically in Photoshop...in the latest update to photoshop, photoshop no longer opens the image...not sure if this is a photoshop issue or cap one issue?

Anyone else have this issue?

  Not seeing that, opens as normal here, PS 22.5.1.
  What about with Right Click - Edit With - PS?

  I have the same problem in Windows 11, Photoshop 23.0.0 does not show up with the right mouse click. I think it maybe Photoshop?

  Does WIndows 11 change the way that Windows recognizes file type associations?

  If not, does it carry forward associations from WIndows 10 or do they have to be recreated?

  If you are running Capture 21 Windows 11 you need to go to, Settings - Apps – Default apps – Photo. This will list all the file formats related to pictures. You then have to change the default app for opening pictures to Photoshop. Once you have done this. You can then open Capture 21, select an image. You will now be able to see Photoshop listed in the edit in menu via the right mouse click. Hope this is helps?
