CP 21 startet nicht
It's just terrible with this licensing system. Is it from the 80s?
You buy a preupgrade and you can't run your existing version because it's been disabled for some intelligent reason. If this keeps up, I'll say goodbye and stick exclusively with Raw Power.
No clean information flow.
Can I get a refund. I am simply no longer interested in this time wasting procedure.

This is the usual process for years : when you pre-order a forthcoming version, you get a new licence code. And this new licence code should be applied to your running (21) version. It means that you have to deactivate the previous licence number and enter the new one (received through email when your pre-order has been registered by Capture One, i.e. immediately) for your version 21 to run again.

Are you sure? Because this doesn't make sense to me... At least I don't see it as the only logical path. A new key should be related to a new software version.

Yes, I am sure, this is what I just did this morning, and it works. I won't excuse Capture One for this way of proceeding, but when you buy a new version, you receive a licence number. In that case, the new version hasn't been released yet, indeed, but you bought it.
