Question on upgrade options to Capture one 22

Only Capture One will be able to advise you about this and, traditionally, it is not something that has been discussed in the public domain (i.e. this User to User forum) until a release date is announced.

Normally, where an upgrade to a new version is released and available, the upgrade cost to a new version (e.g. upgrade to V22 from V21) is about half of the cost of a first purchase or something close to that. At that time if you log in to your account you should be able to see the Upgrade options and costs available for your existing products.

Historically, and common in the software industry but with no guarantee that history will be repeated, anyone buying an existing version within a certain number of days of the release of a new version may be able to claim the new version as a zero cost update. How long this "grace period" may be is in the gift of the developer.

If you would like to try to obtain a clearer indication about any of these matters for budgeting purposes, I would suggest that you contact the Support Team using the "Submit a request" feature of the community pages, select the appropriate "report to" department option (i.e. something directed to sales and marketing) from the list supplied and ask the question.  You should receive a personal and confidential response.
