CAPTURE ONE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE CANON 5D MARK IV W/MACBOOK PRO M1
I recently bought a Macbook Pro 14" with Apple M1 Pro chip.
The Capture One works perfectly with old sessions but doesn't recognizes the camera.
The laptop recongnizes the camera connected but not the Capture One.
The elements are:
MacBook Pro 14 ”M1 model
Camera model: canon 5d Mark IV
TetherPro USB-C to 3.0 Micro-B connection cable
Program: Capture One 21 14.4
Does anyone know any solution? I have already tried some of the recommendations I read, but nothing worked.

Andy,
I updated the firmware of the camera (from 1.1.2 to 1.3.3) and it worked perfectly! I can work with capture one with no problems so far.
Here the firmware:https://hk.canon/en/support/0400680002?model=1483C

If anyone is still having issues, try using a shorter cable for tethering. That solved my problem. I used the cable that came with the camera (maybe 3ft long) instead of my Tether Tools 15ft cable and that apparently was the issue. My husband (an engineer) said it was an issue with voltage drop because of the long cable most likely. I did buy the TetherBooster Pro from Tether Tools last night as well, so I'm hoping that will allow me to use the 15ft Tether Tools cord with no issues.
