Importing iPhone jpegs into C1
I'm using C1 21 on an iMac M1. I use Fujifilm cameras to shoot RAW images. Occasionally, on a trip, I augment these images with those I take with an iPhone XR, which are in JPEG format.
I want to import and sort all the images into Image Date / Format subfolders. So, for example, I can have a subfolder for a particular date with the RAW photos for that date followed (or preceded by) the JPEG images for the same date.
Is this possible? (It seems to me this is only possible if the iPhone JPEGs have an Image Date field.)

iPhone jpegs contain all the metadata you need -- more than capture one will use, anyway -- provided the metadata is not stripped before importing into capture one. Emailing and/or texting images sometimes strips metadata.
I enable Photos icloud image sharing on my devices. Pictures taken on the phone will show up in Photos on my mac.
Open Photos, select the desired images, and use File -> Export -> Export Unmodified to export the images somewhere on your machine. Import those images into Capture One. For my phone they are heic instead of jpeg. Either is OK. Once imported into Capture One I delete the images from Photos as I don't need two copies and that keeps my icloud usage down.
Assuming your camera date/time was correct the images will sort into the proper order.
