Version without Tethering

Would it be possible to offer a lower priced version of of Capture One without Tethering?
This feature is no doubt a complex and significant coding overhead to the app for which I have absolutely no use. Undoubtedly there will also be a significant number of users in the same situation who are anything from hobbyists/enthusiasts to landscape or nature photographers. Would I be right in that Tethering would only be used by commercial or product photographers, or portrait, wedding or model photographers and the like?  - primarily those who earn a living from it.
