I think you need to tell us a bit more so that maybe someone can help. How are you trying to import the files. From a memory card? Are you in a catalog or a session? If you press the import button on the toolbar, does the import window come up?

I am using a CF Express type B memory card and using catalogs.  The import window comes up and jpegs can be imported but the RAW files can only be seen as an icon.  The size of the NEF files are listed as are the jpegs, but only the jpegs show up for review.

    Thanks,

    Jonathan

Do you use "lossy compressed RAWs" ? If yes, they are not supported yet:

Unless there is a setting for that other than the quality tab in the menu, I do not use compressed RAWs.

I have a Z9 and I have no difficulty with lossless raw.

It sounds to me that you're shooting one of the two lossy raw formats provided by Nikon - which as has been pointed out, isn't yet supported by C1.

That's what is so frustrating...I have it set for regular RAW.

For many, this is a real issue with Capture One. Most pros shoot tethered, in lossy raw formats. The Z9 has been out for months. This should be a priority. I hope it is.
