is capture one a fre website

have just downloaded capture one but ll it seems to do is try and get me to subscribe, i was under the impression it was free ?

Capture One Express is free. I believe there are versions for Sony, Fuji and Nikon.

OddS is right, and as you can see, he did check - he's referencing Capture One's own guidance directly. The free versions are all killed off, and Capture One has been very clear about it.

Not that you'd know, from the of people who obviously HAVEN'T checked...

I am using an Express version, does this impact me?

No changes are being made to our Express product at this stage. Your software will continue to work as it is.
