Import fail on keyworded NEFs
Hi, I have just upgraded from Fujifilm 22 to Pro 22 as per the latest release. I am importing historical Nikon NEFs, and Capture One does not see, let alone import, any image containing keywords previously added in Lightroom 6. I see that someone had this same problem a while ago with 21 for Windows.
I don't want to have to remove the keywords. Will there be a fix coming does anybody think? Do I need to submit a request to Capture One?
Thanks in advance for any hints.
Dawn.

Those .NEFs are from a Nikon camera and not from some other NEF-writer like scanner software, right? As far as I know, LR6 does not overwrite .NEFs. So what did, somewhere between the camera and LR?

Thanks OddS, you're right, the keywords must be in the .xmps. I don't know why some of my NEFs are uploading and some not. They are from a Nikon D60 and a Nikon D7000. Failures from both. I can't remember what RAW setting I used on the D7000 and I see that it had compressed/lossless option and 14 bit/16 bit option. However Capture One just says the NEFs will all load when I look it up.
I wonder where to from here?

Are the troble-NEFs straight out of camera or have they been operated on by software other than LR and Capture One? If yes, what software?

All my NEFs have been copied from camera to Mac, prior to capture one I only ever used LR or adobe camera raw.

Your best option is probably to contact Capture One support via the "Submit a request" link in the upper right corner of this page. Easter Holiday may delay the response...

Thanks so much for your help, I'll put in the request.
