C1 22 upgrade or not
They make it clear that if you do not upgrade from the branded to the Pro version then your branded version will continue to work perpetually (if you have a perpetual license). Will that be true if you upgrade to the Pro version?
Also, is there any advantage to upgrading to Pro other than the multi-brand capability? If I don't plan to ever go beyond C1 22, I don't see a reason to upgrade unless upgrading provides something beyond just the multi-brand capability.

Are you on the branded Pro version or the Express one? In either case, I'd move to the Pro version if only to get multi-brand support.
If you're on the Express version, you're missing out on a lot of C1's really useful capabilities. These include Layers, the ability to customize the workspace, and a number of adjustments. I think there's a table somewhere that compares Express with Pro.
I've always been on Pro and was, frankly, amazed by how much is missing from the Express version when I tried to help people with those versions.

I did it, I better have a full perpetual copy of pro 22 than a restricted one for my camera brand.

The question is about the branded Pro version vs. the upgrade to full Pro version. So far, it sounds like the only advantage to the upgrade is to no longer be restricted to one camera brand. Anything else? More importantly, do we know if you still have a perpetual license after taking the upgrade? It would be very bad if the upgrade is just a trick to take away your perpetual license.
