Live View Orientation is Erratic

This issue only happens when I'm shooting from above, looking straight down. When I set my camera up for an overhead shot, the live view orientation starts erratically freaking out like it can't decide what's up/down/left/right. I'm using a Nikon Z7ii with the Capture One 22 on a new M1 iMac. I never had this issue with my Sony cameras, so maybe it's Nikon specific? Any help or ideas... I've gone through older posts for this issue but haven't seen one resolved.
