Capture One - Live View - Sony A7RIII

Hello all,

I recently purchased a licence for CaptureOne hoping for a decent one-stop-shop solution.

 

My main field of work is product photography and as such, I do tend to use focus stacking. Capture One seems to offer something along those lines as part of the live view window, however, whenever I try to trigger the shot, my camera will focus and then ... nothing. 

Even if I click repeatedly or hold down the trigger button the trigger won't work. It only ever re-focuses. 

 

Has anyone experienced similar issues and found a solution?

I was asking around in a product photography forum and several people seemed to have an issue with this (Nikon + Sony cameras).

 

It's a Sony A7RIII with a Sony G-Master 85mm f1.4

The camera is connected to a MacBook Pro through a TetherPro cable.

  Bump - I know many have experienced this before by talking to colleagues with Sony Cameras and Capture One. Does anyone have a solution for this please?
