New Mac (M1 Chip) with a P30+ on a Mamiya RZ
Hello - I have both C1-11 and C1-22. Whenever I connect my RZ with a P-30+ back it'll connect to C1-11 (not 22) and the software will recognize the camera but it won't let me take pictures. When I press the shutter nothing goes through (in spite of the fact it is connected and powering the back). No files can be found in finder either. I connect the back through a docking station that has a FW-800 port. Thank you for your help

One issue may be that your docking station is not compatible with your computer (which one) so that data from a FW cannot be transferred. Have you confirmed that a FW 800 device (a hard drive, for example) can transfer data to the computer via the docking station? Your computer may not have the driver. Apple does offer a FW adapter to Thunderbolt cable that uses the Thunderbolt port to on the new M1 computers. May be worth a try so you can make a "direct"connection.

Hi Michael - Thank you for your reply. I have an OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock. Upon your suggestion, I plugged in a FW 800 HD and it worked! Mounted, read, wrote, everything.
I have the FW to Thunderbolt adaptor and it didn't work. It didn't even power the back.
Any other suggestions? Thank you
