Export failes when VPN is connected

Hello everybody,

I would like to ask a technical question about exporting with Capture One. I have a very strange behavior when doing exports.

I'm using a VPN software (for reasons that are not import in this) but I have noticed that when my VPN is actif, then I can not export images in Capture One (I get a socket error). However, if I turn off my VPN connection, the exports are passing with no issues at all.

So it seems that Capture One is using some extra local exe file or so with seems to struggle with this VPN connection. I already have put Capture One exe and the address 127.0.0.1 in the bypass list but it still does not work.

I agree that turning off my VPN temporary is a workaround but it like to know if anyone else has this experience too when using a VPN and how did you resolve it ?

  I don't have this problem with AVG Secure VPN.
