Zoom Out Beyond Fit

There is no feature to zoom out beyond zoom-to-fit.

However, if you really want to see what an image looks like as ti will appear in online media, just zooming out is not going to be the best way.

If you create an export recipe that produces a small size of output, perhaps at 1000px on the long edge, you can then use recipe proofing (View -> Recipe Proofing) to see it at exactly 1000 px on screen. And if, as you might, you have added some output sharpening, you will see it at 1000px and with that sharpening, So that gives you the best idea of what it will look like. And you can engage and disengage Recipe Proofing with a keyboard shortcut, so it is quick and easy.

Having said that, I agree that being able to zoom further out would be useful, though for other reasons, for instance to be able to adjust a radial mask outside the crop.

I know. Also, "Please don't suggest workarounds."

This seems like a drop-dead easy feature to implement.

Not relevant until enough people actually ask for it.

    "Please don't suggest workarounds."

Ian's suggestion isn't a "workaround", it's a perfectly valid solution to the "problem".

    Yeah, that's called a workaround.
