support is awful
Asked why it took 6 hours to delete 300 files from the trash folder (delete from disk)
response: I suggest you delete directly from the external drive and the thrash folder. It might save you some time?.
Do they even try?
Deleting the images directly... I don't want remember each image and delete them outside the app. That is why I spend hundreds of euros on it.
Delete from trash: Um.. that is what I did
If they had just said they didn't know I'd accept that, but an answer like this is just insulting.
I won't buy any upgrades. next year I change to Lightroom.

Is the grass any greener over there?

No clue on how their color grading works :)
I had to buy a new 2 Terabyte SDD.
I was a bit upset when I wrote the post because I already spend a lot of cash on a Sony camera, lens, extra battery, Tripod, Capture One... etc.
Seems to be working fine on the new SDD. The disk it didn't work on was a WD My book Duo. They are quit expensive but have 5 Terabyte in raid and 10 without raid.
I guess I can do a manual backup once in a while.

It is what it is.
Support is a sore point and has been for a long time, but I think that is orthogonal to the catalog system and other other parts of the application being bad by design.
