Hi Chris, I have the same thoughts and have tweeted this before (https://twitter.com/85Blickwinkel/status/1610740635362787329) and also opened a ticket (#171606) on the  CaptureOne Support.

Why they don't think about having the option to just use the iCloud photo library? That way CaptureOne would be the solution for three devices and all the photos could be stored in iCloud. The most people who do a lot with photos and use an iPad have additional iCloud storage.

So in my eyes the iCloud variant is a very good option. An alternative would be if you could pack the library of "CaptureOne iPad" on an external SSD via USB-C and then simply connect this SSD to your Mac and use the same library.

I know that many people work in session, especially in a studio, but for many freelance photographers it's just great to be able to manage all the work in one library.

I, for example, manage my images by creating a folder for each year and then a folder for each "event/job/project" below that. Any images I finish developing and want to keep, I then export and push into my Mac Photos App (iCloud) so I can have the images on all my devices and then send, post or share them from there on social media, mail or messanger.

I hope our input will help to built a great Capture One Version. I really don't want to use Adobe products anymore. Regards, Alex
