Is there any reason keep old version of C1?
In the past, I used to keep an old version of C1 until I was sure that the new version was free of major bugs. Since I am staying with v22, is there any rational to keeping v21?

While I only see one [sort of] good reason for keeping v21. If you later want to run C1 on a Mac running an OS earlier than Mojave, you'll need to install v21 on it. Example: your main machine is a current Mac running current OS, so you want v22. However, you also have an older laptop you want to use as a travel machine that can work with C1; v21 or older may be needed for that machine.
You're aware that v21 can't read current v22 catalogs, so all work you've done in the last few months will be lost if you revert to v21. In my scenario above, this isn't a problem because v22 can upgrade v21 catalogs, so no work done on the v21 laptop will be lost.
There may be other scenarios.
