What is "Process with..." option when selecting "Edith with..."?

I just installed Topaz Photo AI as a plugin.  Now when I right click and select "Edit with..." there are options for both "Edit with Topaz Photo AI" and "Process with Topaz Photo AI".  I don't get "Process with..." for any other plugin I have installed including other Topaz apps.

What is this option for?  What does it do?
