Auto adjustment may be set and being batch applied to a session that has already been adjusted, how to turn off
I'll start out by saying I'm not sure what's happening, but I think that somehow I've managed to set C1 23 on a Mac (OS 12.6) to apply auto adjustments to entire folders of images (batch adjustment) in a session, images from several months ago that I had already made extensive adjustments too.
As soon as I open the folder, all the images in the Viewer are changing from how I had made them (adjustments applied), to a new "look". I'm unable to cmd Z to return to original adjustment state. Files are from the Fuji GFX100S.
I did a full clean install of C1 23 and the issue persisted on a copy of the session folder that I pulled off my offsite backup drive, which is weird but maybe gives a clue??
I'm trying to talk with Support, but they took 10 days to respond to my initial support ticket(!!!) so hoping folks here may have suggestions.
Many thanks!!!

Hi,
you wrote, this issue comes up on a "copy" of the session-folder.
So be sure, that you copied really all files, folders and sub-folders of this backup to the new session-folder.
Second question: with what a C1-version have you made the ajustments the first time.
Mhm, some points to start an analyse. ....BR, Wilfried

I work with sessions, which are stored on an external 24TB enclosure, so honestly, don't see how that would be possible. The C1 system files are all in the System and Library section of the computer.

Hi Wilfred, no, the issue "persisted" with the copy of the session. In other words, whatever is happening is in C1's software and settings, not in the session settings.
Therefore it should be irrelevant what version of C1 the original adjustments were made with, but for information C1 22, which I used all through 2022 as I'm a full time working photographer with no issues.
FYI I'm now having a completely separate issue with C1 where I'm trying to create a new Workspace but the Toolbar customize flyout with all the tools that can be in the toolbar is missing and causes C1 to crash. Fun...
