Changes/edits from external editor Photoshop won't save to Capture One

Hi all,

I'm on Mac Os Ventura using Capture One Pro 22. 

I'm having a frustrating issue with is C1 and round trip editing where the changes I make to a photo via Photoshop are not saved back to C1 when I save. 

I use the 'Edit With' function in C1, set to either PS or Tiff and do the edits in Photoshop. The programmes are not talking to eachother once I'm in Photoshop it seems.

Help please!
