Capture One 21 and external SSD
Hello everybody,
I have a problem that I can't solve.
I use Capture One 21 to process my RAW photos and then manage them in Photos Mac OS as jpg.
In order to secure my Photos library, I wanted to save my images on an external SSD in folders (RAW as jpg).
So I took the step and bought a Samsung T7 Shield SSD.
The first step is to put my RAW pictures on the SSD (from my external drive) as well as the catalogs and to rebuild the access path.
And there, patatra...
I can't get a folder into Capture One from the SSD. It does see it when adding a folder. But after validating the addition, it does not appear in the listing. I have tried everything. Even delete C1 and reinstall it. With all my hard drives (Mac's SSD and external hard drives), it's ok but not the SSD.
However, the SSD is visible by the Samsung app, up to date. Visible also by the Mac OS utility. Visible by the Finder and I can create folders on it and copy files from Finder as other software.
SSD is formatted in APFS encrypted by the Mac OS utility. I am on Mac OS Ventura 13.2.
Would you have an idea because I don't understand?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I use a T5 to tether to the mac, so I have plenty of space. Lately I have C1 23 with Ventura 13.2 and I can't delete the files of the SSD. The proxy are a problem. I have to delete them by folder.
I have the feeling there is something wrong with 23 and venture....

Thanks Ron for your answer.
In fact, because I am French, I used a name for my T7 with "é".
I tried without "é" and it works!
It seems crazy/stupid, I don't know why I can use "é".
But it seems to work.

I have plenty of room because I tether my T5 to my Mac. As of late, I've been using C1 23 with Ventura 13.2, however I've been unable to remove any files from my SSD. The proxies are an issue. Each folder requires a separate deletion.
I can't help but believe that 23+venture isn't quite right. basketball stars

I connect my T5 to my Laptop, so I have plenty of space. I've recently started using C1 23 with Ventura 13.2, however I've had no luck deleting any data from my SSD. The issue is wordle with the proxies. Each folder must be deleted separately.
