Simple and Critical: Center Indicator for Lens Movements
Capture One accepts lens movement data in an unorthodox manner, X is related to the long side of the image, and Y the short side of the sensor regardless of the orientation of the camera. To add, rise/fall is in the image orientation (fall is + numbers) but shift is in the camera orientation (image right is negative, as it would be camera right). I'm guessing that this is because it is expecting things as if they are lens movements, but cameras such as the XT come with the mount on the lens side, so move their backs instead. Established terminology would be in relation to the camera, ie. rise/fall+shift. As such, it makes it very difficult to intuit whether one is entering the correct data.
If you could add a button in the panel, show it while changing or adding shift data, and under view, add an option for lens center crosshair (when data is entered) it would save a lot of mistakes that cascade into larger failures when processed. All other lens correction software has a version of this.
