Auto Hide / Show Tools in VIEWER

Dear Helpdesk, there is one feature of C1 (21 on Mac) that drives me crazy. When I use an external big display for the Viewer, the Tool bar keeps popping up on the left side whenever I want to crop the image size on the left. I have sort of get used to cropping it on the right side first and then moving it from left to right, but I am hoping there is a better work around for this? Many thanks in advance.
