My first shot is to update your system to OS X 10.5.8 unless something is preventing you from doing so. And: do you use an Intel Mac or PPC Mac?

I am afraid you have to look for another program for that feature (besides that I acknowledge your workflow as "interesting"). You can use the HDR slider to get some extra juice out of your image. ...

Try to activate on second computer. If not successful deactivate the license from the web site. This will give you 2 new activations and deactivate all installations. Then activate both computers.
