Thanks. So what does HDR do that Levels cannot do? Is HDR a refinement for Levels? What about sequence. Should you do Exposure first then followed by Levels then HDR?

You can shoot JPG via the built in Apple camera app.Settings/Camera/Formats/Most Compatible

Is there a technical reason why there is no before/after button? This is the only image editing app that I know of that does not have this feature.

I have the same issue. I submitted a ticket last Friday.
