    Sorry, it can be that iCloud deleted the physical copy of my default catalog from the disk (to free up some space). I'll keep you posted.

    Thanks Robert Farhi... you're absolutely right! I unselected "exclude duplicates" and it runs much much faster. There's definetely something weird going on underneath (#bug).
