is this really my best route?I kinda was hoping a cataloguing software could do this.Seems fundamental. I migrated from evaporated MediaDex.It could do this in a minute or 3, from dvd.

for NEF, somewhere here it says to use the apple rendering engine in raw panel of the media rendering preferences when this happens
