I do appreciate the work-around. However although I can capture into Capture One this way my D800 keeps flashing in the viewfinder and won't easily release the shutter. Am I doing something wrong? ...

I''m told NIkon has released the Nikon D800 SDK. If so could you now implement normal tethered support for the D800? Thanks- John
