Whats new in this version beside additional camera support?

Can someone tell me the difference between the Generic and the Portrait profiles?Also, after installing 3.7.5 can I Uninstall 3.7.4 or will I lose anything?

Dumb Question (Maybe)
How come when I open a new folder of RAW captures they look overexposed and then as C1 scans each thumbnail it adjusts to a more correct looking exposure?Why the change?
