This ongoing issue for me ~32,000 images/catalog is the most frustrating thing. I know I need to edit it and get rid of images that I no longer want or need but it just takes forever for C1 process...

FWIW, I have the same problem. With an initial adjustment layer edit on a RAW file, there's a brief lag, which I can live with. However, if I 'edit with' in Photoshop and then save and return to CO...

Been using them for years... Try contacting their support service. They can tell you how to tweak your settings to improve your upload.
