OKay, quick follow up, that was good advice about the Thumbnail generating. My recommendation is that anyone on a Mac should immediately switch over to the "Apple" rendering engine.

Actually, the 'rebuild thumbnail' seems to do nothing on my machine. The "Edit: Thumbnails and Previews" setting don't seem to make a difference. Are others seeing this?
