I updated to 10.4.2 and 3.7.1 yesterday on my PowerBook G4 - no problems. 3.7.1 with 10.3.9 on G5 Dual 2.0 also no problems.

Hans,TIF files don't have XMP sidecars - all metadata is written in the TIF.
