Did you try different input sources?My M1 woun't play well with the Display connected through TB3 I needed to use DP.

M1 Macs are not supported jet. Canon did not update any drivers since Mojave.

Just got a Mail from support.Tethering issues on M1 will be addressed in an update in 2021.It will run on M1 Macs but native support is also planned for 2021.

Capture One 21 M1 Macs still not supported?
C1 21 installed on M1 Mac still does not show Canon camera connection. System requirement is not updates for 21 so are the other support topics.

Tethering with Canon 5D mk IV is NOT working for me. Camera is not recognised. Canon support says to wait for updates. : /
