Export locations. WHY!??

Please tell me WHY ON EARTH did Phase One change the default "Output" locations? Before, it was easy, everything just automatically went to the session "Output" folder, without even being told. Now, I have to go jump through a load of hoops trying to select the exact folder I want to export to... EVERY TIME. It's really annoying, plus wasting my time, and if I forget, I end up with files all over my computer that shouldn't be there. I can't think of a single logical explanation for this. Like ill be on one session, but because I had set the export location on the previous session, it'll automatically send the files to the previous session's output folder!!!

 

Dumbfounded.

 

Is there any workaround?

  I think this should still be possbile on Mac too. Do you use the Export dialog or the (new-old) output processing tools?

  Check in the lib tool that your session output is relative:

  right mouse click > Show Info

  

  In the Export dialog, check the location / Folder:

  

  or in the new Export tools:

  

  If that's set correctly, does it work?
