Capture One Plugin SDK: Start here
Welcome to the Capture One Plugin SDK section. This subsection aims to create a community focused discussion on all things related to developing plugins for Capture One.
Few basics when posting here:
- The Capture One Plugin SDK - which contains the resources to get you started - can be downloaded from the Capture One Developer Portal
- Capture One supports plugins in versions 12.0 and later
- Plugins for Capture One have to be written in the OS-native language:
macOS: Objective-C and Swift
Windows: C#
- Some functions are only available in certain versions of Capture One, so be sure to reference the build your plugin targets
- Usual forum rules apply
- Phase One bears no responsibility for sample code sourced or used from this forum
- Phase One does not offer any official support for plugins developed by third-party entities
- Submit information on https://developer.phaseone.com/ when your plug-in is tested and ready to be featured on http://www.phaseone.com/capture-one/plug-ins
Looking for help with a problem?
- Explain what you are trying to do, not just what you did
- Specify the point at which an error happens in the code
- Copy paste the code and error message if it exists
- Explain what you already tried
- List the version of Capture One and the operating system version you are using

Another post mentions that the link in this post has been changed. My experience was that it did not redirect so here is the new link https://www.captureone.com/en/partnerships/developer

It really doesn't matter. The API is so sparse, is not worth fooling with.
Sad, really.
