Sony a7 IV won't tethering
I'm having issues with tethering again and again. This is terrible. I have tried to update, turn airplane on/off, wifi on/ off, turn off /on the camera. Nothing helps.
And when the cable connects to the camera it says all the correct things like connect remote and so on. Nothing happens.
I have always been happy about Capture One, but the last year it has been the worst program ever. I'm seriously considering changing to Lightroom.

What OS are you on?
What version of Capture One are you using?
What length and type of cable are you using?
Have you setup your camera for the right USB mode?
A lot of additional information needed here. You can always check the tethering troubleshooting article if tethering has stopped suddenly: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/3600023815570 -
I have just updated capture one. Mac OS Monterery 12.0.1
The latest C1 before that I had the 15 version. It worked like for some while Monday this week, but most days it won't connect.

@... You'll need to update macOS to 12.6 as that is the earliest supported OS in Capture One Pro 16.3
That will explain why tethering was working with an older version, but not with a newer one.

Christopher, do you happen to update the camera to version 2.x firmware? Some new settings may prevent you from successful tethering.
